Insurance & investing — one conversation
Protect what matters. Grow what you've built.
I help Canadian families put the right protection in place — life, disability, critical illness and more, and invest with confidence through segregated funds in a TFSA, RRSP, RESP and other registered plans.
A real conversation to understand what is important to you.

The right coverage is about the right amount, the right type, and the right price. We'll sort out what you actually need — no more, no less.

Your income is your biggest asset. Disability coverage helps pay the bills if illness or injury keeps you from working, so a setback doesn't become a crisis.

A lump-sum benefit if you're diagnosed with a covered condition — money to use however you need while you focus on recovery, not finances.

Most people are over-insured in one area and exposed in another. A quick review shows you exactly where you stand — free, no obligation.
Start with a reviewEveryday coverage
Home, auto and business liability — connected through trusted partners.
Home & Auto Insurance
I don't place home and auto policies directly — I connect you with trusted referral partners who do, and I stay in the loop so it fits your bigger picture.
Commercial General Liability
Running a business? Through my referral partners, I can point you to commercial general liability coverage — and fold it into your wider financial strategy.
You always know exactly who's placing the policy — and why. That's how I like to work.
Invest with confidence
Segregated funds — investing with insurance built in.
Segregated funds are insurance-based investments that combine market growth with features mutual funds can't offer.
- ✓ Maturity & death-benefit guarantees — a portion of your principal is protected, depending on the contract (typically 75%–100%).
- ✓ Potential estate advantages — proceeds may bypass probate and go directly to your named beneficiary, privately.
- ✓ Potential creditor protection — in certain situations, an important feature for business owners.
Guarantees and protections apply under the terms of the individual insurance contract. We'll walk through the details — including fees — before anything is decided.
The right account, the right purpose
Segregated funds can be held inside most registered plans, so your savings grow tax-efficiently for the goal they're meant for.
Tax-free growth, any goal
RRSPRetirement savings + tax refunds
FHSAFirst home, tax-advantaged
RESPEducation + government grants
LIRA / LIFLocked-in pension money, working properly
RRIFRRSPs converted into retirement income
RDSPDisability savings + government grants
Non-registeredFlexible savings, no contribution limits
Already have RRSPs or TFSAs elsewhere? A second-opinion review costs nothing — and often reveals options you haven't been shown.
Business Owners & Incorporated Professionals
Built something more complex? There's a deeper conversation.
Corporate-owned insurance, tax-efficiency strategies, formal financial planning, and private wealth management through my referral partners. If that's where you are, just say the word — we'll take the path that fits.
Common questions
What exactly is a segregated fund?+
A segregated fund is an insurance-company investment fund that wraps market investing with guarantees — like a maturity and death-benefit guarantee — plus potential estate and creditor advantages. Like all investments, fees and terms matter, and we'll review them together.
Do you place home & auto insurance yourself?+
No — and I'll always be upfront about that. Home, auto and commercial general liability are placed through referral partners I trust. My role is to connect you and make sure it fits your overall plan.
I already have life insurance and RRSPs. Is that a problem?+
Not at all. Many clients come to me for a second opinion on what they already hold. Sometimes everything's fine — sometimes there's a real gap. Either way, you'll leave the conversation knowing where you stand.
How much does the first conversation cost?+
Nothing. The first conversation is free and carries no obligation. If we work together, you'll know exactly how I'm compensated before any product is discussed.
I travel a lot — is annual travel insurance worth it?+
For frequent travellers, an annual multi-trip plan is often simpler and more economical than buying per trip. We'll look at how often you travel and where, and pick the fit.
